In fact, adult dogs typically require more training and a longer transition period, as they've had years to settle into a specific environment and routine.

 

Adopting an adult dog disrupts their established lifestyle, making the adjustment process more time-intensive. If you're seeking a dog that requires no effort, no training, and no changes to your daily routine, please understand that this expectation is unrealistic for a puppy

and even more so an adult.
